This ONL (Giles) ball provides a perfectly acceptable 7/10 blue ink side panel signature from Clemente, toned somewhat by the spot application of some form of sealant intended to maintain the autograph's boldness. As far as we're concerned, this is one of the most important post-war autographs, and doubtless there are many who would agree. Signature removal apparent, sparing the collector the larger resultant price tag this apparent single would otherwise command.
