Joe Montana, the 49ers' ace quarterback, led his team down the field and, with 51 seconds left, threw a pass into the back of the end zone. Miraculously, a jumping, stretching and twisting Dwight Clark, the team's Pro Bowl wide receiver, pulled it in for a touchdown with just 51 ticks remaining on the clock.
