The FaxPress 2500 Network Fax Server provides a complete solution for the network fax environment allowing users to easily receive faxes in their email inbox, send faxes directly from applications, or broadcast thousands of faxes with just one click. As a self-contained unit, FaxPress comes with all the necessary hardware and software to integrate fax into network, desktop, email and back-end applications. With 2 built-in fax modems and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet Interface, it is designed for medium sized organizations with 50-100 network users. FaxPress allows the user to broadcast customized Microsoft® Word documents to multiple recipients. The destination information, such as name and fax number, can be retrieved from Excel, Access, DBF files or from any ODBC-compatible data file. The Fax Archive Service allows archiving and maintenance of all fax transmissions and transaction logs within any Access or SQL database. For centralized storage and access, the Fax Archive Service can manage multiple FaxPress units in a single database file. The Faxmain user interface displays the status of fax transmissions through color coding and flagged messages. SNMP support allows administrators to remotely monitor and reconfigure the FaxPress, as well as set SNMP alarms to alert the user of failed fax transmissions. By acting as a server on the network, the FaxPress allows client workstations to access incoming and outgoing faxes, phone books, transaction logs, and other fax-related data. |
